Hot take (Tw: child predators and peodphilia mentioned)

PLEASE FELL FREE TO CORRECT ME, OR EDUCATE ME ON ANYTHING I GET WRONG. (pls be nice about it, I'm sensitive) Hot take, I don't think Paedophile makes you evil off the bat. Yes, having thought feeling and thoughts about child is VERY harming not only to yourself, but potentially other people. I think what makes you bad or good is what you do after finding out your a pedophile. If you get therapy, get through help you need.. Your doing the right thing. But, if you don't do anything about it and those thoughts are getting worse and worse and you end up doing something THEN your a horrible person and should face your sick crimes. I do believe in attraction ≠ action, but it can lead you to do actions and if you let it get that bad then your the horrible person. I also believe how much people say "kill all pedos" are actually doing more harm than good. It's making an environment were people are scared to even say what thoughts they are having, making then scared to reach out for help. Which ultimately may lead them to a darker path. AND, I hate when people confuse predator and peodphilia. I believe a predator is someone who's done those actions towards a child who is the disgusting person, but as I said, being a peodphilia doesn't inherently makes you a bad person. If my friend told me they were having thoughts, i wouldn't say they should die and rot in jail. Why? BECAUSE THRU HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING AND ARE ACTIVELY SEEKING HELP. So, I would try my best to get them thr help they need and deserve. That's my hot take, leave your options in the comments..
