Not a stranger, but a friend did this when we first met. I remember I told my group of friends that I passed my math exam and was so happy. Math was never my best subject so it was a HUGE achievement for me. But they never responded. However, he (let's call him David) sends me a message and he tells me how happy and proud he is. He said that he knew I would ace it. I told him before taking my exam that I was nervous and thought I would fail. But he told me that I would do well. He believed in me and we both did a little mini celebration. He was the only one who believed in me. Another time it was Christmas and he sent me a gift. It was the very first time I ever got a gift on Christmas, because my family couldn't afford things at the time. I celebrated Christmas and New Year's eve with him just watching him play his favorite games. Another time we watched a horror movie with my group of friends and he made a joke about it to make it less scary. He loved horror movies and somehow made the movies so funny with him around. We would have conversations/interactions like this back and forth. This was years ago and I still remember him. Unfortunately, we hardly talk now. He stopped talking to me like we used to. He was a gentleman, treated me with respect, and is such a kind person. I really miss him, but I guess life happens. He was really busy and going through a lot. Really hope he's doing well.
