I can't keep living with my family anymore. I don't feel at peace here
Yesterday, I talked to a guy I met on a dating app and asked if he'd be willing to marry me soon because I want to leave my current situation as quickly as possible. I spent a lot of time thinking yesterday, and honestly, my mind has been all over the place. Out of desperation, I ended up talking to a guy I met on a dating app and asked him if he would be willing to marry me soon. I explained why I feel such an urgency to leave my current situation, because I don't think I can keep living with my family anymore. He told me he would consider it and even mentioned coming here next week. But the more I think about it, the harder it is for me to believe that someone I barely know would actually follow through. I can't shake the feeling that he may not be as serious as he says he is. I have talked to a few other guys as well, but none of them seem truly serious. Most of them act as if I'm joking or not being sincere. They don't seem to understand that I'm serious, and it's frustrating because I'm not saying these things for fun. Because of that, I'm starting to realize that getting married this week probably isn't going to happen. The truth is, I don't have anyone I love or trust enough to marry. I don't have a boyfriend, a crush or someone I'm close to. That's why I ended up asking random people on dating apps because I feel like I'm running out of options. I don't think I can keep living with my family anymore. In reality, I rarely let people get close to me. When men try to talk to me, I'm usually not interested, so I tend to keep my distance and come across as unfriendly. As a result, I don't really have anyone in my life who knows me well enough or cares about me enough to want to marry me. At this point, I feel like my only real option is to leave on my own. If I do leave, I'll probably only take a few clothes and the essentials because I don't want to carry more than necessary. I've also been thinking about whether I should move to another country altogether. Part of me feels like starting over somewhere completely different would give me the freedom and peace I've been looking for. I even considered Thailand because it's relatively affordable and easy to travel to, but I haven't been able to save any money yet, so I can't afford to move there. Another part of me thinks it would be wiser to find a small apartment here first, get on my feet, save as much money as possible, and then move abroad later when I'm more financially secure. I keep going back and forth between these options, trying to figure out which path is the safest and most realistic. What do you think? I'm trying to make the best decision I can, but right now I feel torn between wanting to leave as soon as possible and wanting to make sure I have a solid plan before I do anything 😕
