That one person.
So, I have a best friend. I like that person, a lot. Even if I'm not supposed to, even if we're really just friends. I confessed to that person a few months ago, and they understood. We're still best friends but there's a bit of tension. I asked them if they ever moved on from their past fling, and they said they never did. I was heartbroken. I thought we we had something going on, but I guess I was just imagining things. So, every time we're both in the same room with the person they like, it's always awkward. I just want to move on but my heart keeps on redirecting things. I don't want to cut contact with that person since we've been friends for years now and I don't want to waste all those memories. What should I do? Should I actually just cut contact with that person? Ignore that person? I really don't know what to do...
