Crushing

I cannot Okay, so I have this guy I have a LOWKEY crush on, and lately I've been wondering if he might like me back.... At first, I actually thought he had a crush on my sister because they have a 34-day TikTok streak. So I was basically like, "welp, there goes that." BUT THEN things started getting suspicious. There's this little greeting that we have that HE actually created. It's basically smiling at each other, waving, and usually high-fiving. It's not something we do with everyone—it's kind of our thing. And whenever we're around each other, he sometimes calls my name just to do the greeting, even when I'm sitting in the first row and I'm only glancing toward the back—or sometimes I wasn't even looking at him at all There was also this one time when we were walking through a really crowded area. My sister was actually ahead of me, but somehow he noticed me first. We immediately did our usual smile-and-wave greeting, and we ended up high-fiving several times. Another thing is that he always tries to make me laugh. And sometimes when his group is laughing about something, I'll notice him looking toward me, like he's checking whether I found it funny too. I know that alone doesn't prove anything, but combined with everything else, it definitely makes me go OMG He's also often one of the first people to view my stories. He doesn't usually react to them, so I know that's not proof of anything, but it's another tiny thing my brain keeps putting on the evidence board. People at school have even shipped us, and one of my friends straight-up said that we look good together. Which obviously did absolutely nothing to calm my brain down. 😭 I also recently found out that someone else actually liked me because he literally confessed, and I ended up rejecting him. So now I'm sitting here comparing the situation like: one guy gave me an actual confession, while with this guy I'm out here analyzing greetings, glances, story views, and whether he looked at me.
