Is my boyfriend obsessed or is he just... weird?
I have a boyfriend, and our story started off at high school, he became more open towards me the longer we dated. But sometimes his honesty is extremely creepy. He told me he's liked me since 6th grade, only watched—barely made it obvious. When we got to 7th grade he said he stopped liking me since he thought I went to a different school. But at 8th grade when he found out I'm indeed in the same school he liked me again, up until 9th grade. And first term, I started to like him as my cousin—who was his classmate and best friend was currently advertising him to me like a lotion.
When a Carnival opened in our town the two of us, let's hide my boyfriend in the letter Y. Y along with my cousin was in the Carnival at the same night me and my friends R and C. Then I found out from C that he told Y that I liked him way before I even knew and saw Y at the Carnival with us. I cried, I wanted to go home, I was fucking embarrassed. Until... my cousin told me "You should check up on Y, he was pale as hell after the ride." So I did. I messaged him. And a few weeks (a month and a half) later, we started dating.
He's sweet, he spends on me—a lot. He quit playing video games, he takes me home, invites me over to his place (I don't go, I'm kind of shy when it comes to meeting his family).
But the creepy shit comes when he's genuinely talking about honest shit. I'm his first crush, first girlfriend, first kiss, first everything. And he becomes creepy in a way like...
"I'll never love anyone after you, either you or no one. If you leave I'll have no purpose in life. I'll sacrifice my image and life for yours. I'll wait for years if you need a break."
And he teasingly shows me off to R and C as if I'm such a gem he managed to steal from them. And he admits he would sometimes observe me back in sixth grade like a stalker. I'M BASICALLY DATING MY STALKER. And his actions seems so practiced almost like he's already planned his whole life with me in it.
