Love...

I don't understand people who genuinely like love irl. I don't mean platonic love like loving your mom or siblings, I'm talking about actually engaging in ROMANTIC love. How do people do it? I'm old enough to know my sexuality by now, right? I assume I'm straight butive never had a single crush in ever. Most male characters I like are just because they're cool, not because I get weirdo kissy touchy feely thoughts. Wtf is romantic love? I can only understand it through fanfics. I don't understand people who genuinely pursue dating in real life.
