It's not cool to bully others. It's not cool to destroy the world and pretend like you're above the destruction you caused. We are all stewards of this world and yet we are all subjects of it. You can burn the village below your casle but when the smoke rises to choke you and remind you of your crime no not play pretend to the villagers you already killed. They won't pay you tax or tribute. You will starve because you killed the farmers who grew the food you ate. This why kings are merely vassals of the world itself. Good kings understand and respect this deeply while fool kings lie and pretend that they are above their own flesh and blood that can be cut, can bleed, and starve. They are all part of this world and the best rulers are the ones who feed their workers and care for the bodies of their subjects as much as their own. . Why refence doom scrolling? Because the young fool saying controversy is not above the rules of the universe even if they try to claim they are. This is why a "boomer" or "unc" is actually more sacred to me. They may be enraptured by ai but their fascination is genuine. They are ignorant like children and so they need neither privilege or power. The old of modern day need protection. "No grandma, shrimp jesus on facebook isn't going to convert all the muslims to christianity." So we who know must protect the ignorant. We must take power and privilege AWAY FROM the elderly to protect them from false conspiracy theories and ai garbage. I've known elderly people to say "I know the animal in the movie is ai but I just think it is cute." The animal is a character from the zootopia movie which is animated and partly computer generated but not made with a large language model (llm) ai system. This is why I hope they think some things are cute. Protect that wonder and don't put shame on the ignorance but instead, teach the ignorant and grant them permission to be entranced by hard work done by real people. We can fix this world.
