I'm nervous please give advice. /parents/boys/friends..
So... im gonna stay anonymous throughout all of these confessions. But here it is- im 17, live with both biological parents and have for my whole life my older siblings(brother and sister) has moved out and I can't talk to them about this or my friends because how do I even say this?
So recently I have started to talk to this boy who's Mexican(thats important sadly) and we've been talking(nothing flirty tho just goodnight texts with hearts) for about 2 and half weeks now and im scared for when it comes to being dating or becomes serious only because of my parents really. My parents are racist sadly. They have told me all my life that I can be friends with black people but I should "stick to my race" when it comes to dating or anything close to that. I've kept it hidden that I've had some black boyfriends and boyfriends whom aren't white(it was easy bc it was mainly online) I've never brought anyone home as a boy and I never plan too due to who my parents are. But im scared because what if they get mad or disown me because hes not white? Does it make it better that hes not back or African/American? Im definitely planning on never telling them anything about my dating love even if im with a white guy. But I also share friends(long time friends) with this guy(let's call him D) D has been friends with my friends nephew(who's 15 now) since they was younger. Ive been friends with her and her 2 siblings since I was 10-11. They know my parents well infact her brother lived with me for 3 months when we was 12-13, her siblings are black, shes white. They dont believe in interracial couples ect. See... my issue is what if her brother tells my parents that im "with" this Mexican guy? Out of jealousy because hes been obsessed with me since we met(2020ish) and I think he still is sadly. Im not sure what Advice im looking for but- what should I do or say if and when they find out, what if my living situation and my parents disbeliefs gets found out by D or our friendgroup??
