Highschool starts this Tuesday, and I was excited. New chapter, new people, new environment and stuff. But, the highschool I'm going to is kinda similar to college, you can pick majors and stuff. I don't know if there's something like that in other countries, but that's the school I'm going to. The major I picked is basically computer science. I once asked my parents to buy me a laptop if I got accepted, but was denied, fairly enough. We didn't have enough money for it. But my Dad, like, 2 years ago, bought a pad/tablet and said that it'd be mine later when I got accepted at this highschool. For now, my little brother would use the pad/tablet At first it's fine, I could still use it from time to time, I could still download all I want. But when time passed, my Dad limit how much I could use it. Even now, I've never used it again. One time I hinted at his promise and yet he seems to forget about it. I brought it up once and he brushed it off. I don't really need it, but it could really help with my studies. And, tbh, I don't care that much if I don't get it, it's the fact that he promised it.
