Is it strange to miss people I shouldn't?

Basically, last year (when I was 16), I got involved with a married guy who was around 37 (yeah, pretty heavy stuff, I know). I won't lie—I really liked him, even though it was wrong. But one day, he told me our "thing" had to end because he was moving to Germany (I'm from Brazil). I was really sad, but at the same time, I understood—he was doing what was best for his life, and besides, he had a wife who was obviously his priority. After a while, he just stopped replying to me anywhere and stopped talking to me altogether. I thought he’d already left—until about three months later, when I was looking at the news and saw his face there! Why? Because he’d done basically the same thing he did with me to someone else—a 13-year-old with autism (again, really heavy stuff, I know). After that, I just couldn't stop thinking about it. It’s one thing for someone to just leave, but it’s another for them to do *that*. I was angry and disgusted, of course, but at the same time, I felt like I hadn't been enough. Maybe if I’d been better, he wouldn't have looked for someone else and hurt another person. Anyway, it’s been a while, but I’ve never really been able to stop thinking about it. I’m turn
