curious about gender/pronouns
I recently got referred to as "they". nobody has ever done that before, so it's got me thinking.
years ago I had a "fruity phase", as many do, and I thought i was transgender and then genderfluid and then just genderqueer in general. my fruity phase was not a phase but the gender questions went away and i realized I wasnt even thinking straight (no pun intended), I was kind of an attention seeker within my friendgroup at least (i never talked to anyone except them), so i just settled with being cisgender.
ive came across many videos about being demigender and agender (along with videos about many autistics feeling agender, which, I am autistic). i thought about it but im just not sure.
again, ive always been referred to as she/her. I dont know if its just because im used to it or what.
but when I got referred to as "they" the other day, I felt... good i guess.
I feel like its because ive never been around people that respect people's gender/pronouns/sexuality and stuff to actually call you your preferred pronouns or name. but im not sure. because i feel like i actually could be agender/demigender and have she/they pronouns instead of she/her but i also could be overthinking...
does anyone have any advice for me? or maybe someone knows another gender term that could fit what im feeling?
