(For clarification we are a gay couple.) I have a girlfriend of 2 years. Let's call her "Lady" and she has dated other girls previously before me and for me? She's my first relationship ever so I don't know if these are just normal things that couples do. As I mentioned she dated/talked to other girls and she told me that all of them were toxic. I believe her. But one ex of hers stuck to me. Let's call the ex "Bird". As far as I know, she's dated Bird the longest before me (almost 2 years) and Lady tells me that she ruined her life and hated her so bad. I'm mad because their history was so messy. She was the first kiss, her first time, first of a lot of things. I don't think I can compete. It bothers me because they still have contact. Lady talks to me about her and how shitty she was and muted her on social media. No block cause she's worried that Bird might not have anyone to lean on. Here's my problem: • when Lady picks me up, she drops me off at Bird's house (we live close by and I have strict parents) • they still have contact and talks sometimes. Bird invites her to her place for Lady to help her mom. • says she doesn't hate her, but always talks bad about her.
