The thing you relayed in your head for a week, the awkward sentence, the wrrong laugh, the wave at someone who wasn’t waving at you - noboey else kept a copy of it.
Everyone is the main character of their own tape and a blurry extra in everybody else’s. That should be freeing more often than it is.
