"The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions." I still hold to that tenent. Unfortunately it seems like there is a shell where my order once was. It's like they used the virgil model in an attempt to gain power for the sake of power because without power no goal can be accomplished. With enough power any goal can be accomplished. Where they went wrong was where power takes the goal from you and you become the subect of power controlled by power instead of power becoming your subject where the power is controlled by you. My order that once shaped me and gave me purpose is dead because it did what it could to become powerful without sacrificing it's power to it's foundational concepts- the goals we once shared. Now I am the wanderer again and I knew my order was just when it first welcomed me. I tested them and they spat on me for seeming to be an outsider when I am one of the first acolytes of the seven. I can't condone what they have become. They are hollow, rudderless, unfocused, and powerless. They are reactionary and insincere. They apologize to me when they realize I am one of the older acolytes but I could have never become an acolyte if I was mocked and spurned in the beginning. In the beginning they welcomed me and instilled the wisdom that is an intrinsic foundation to effective and ethical power. A code of ethics that has now been abandoned in the shell of the temple that was once my welcoming home. I'll keep the code but I will not support the temple that now crumbles without it's apparently antiquated foundation of righteousness in principle and in practice.
