So recently I transferred to a new school to start a new life, a friend of mine who have been friends With me since elementary and one of my closest, also wanted to transfer with me but wasn't allowed to. Now that school has started and I'm in a new school, everything is going smoothly and well, but my friend who appearantly has connections, which they do but only to 2 people, said to me "People are calling you ugly and short there. Lol." Which kinda hits a nerve cause first, I'm a teenager, im in the stage where I'm insecure about everything and I really try my best to look my best. And 2nd, I struggled growing up as a literal "ugly and short" kid, so yea, I'm extra sensitive to those words. But I don't think they mean it to hurt me.. probably? And it makes me more suspicious cuz the 2 ppl they do talk to here are really nice and are totally not the type of people to say that stuff. So I don't get it, where did they get the info from, and are they TRYING to make me uncomfortable? I just don't get what kind of friend would say that even when you're close.. but I could just be overreacting. Idk.
