I need genuine advice on what to do
If you dont know what to say or what advice to give, I suggest you scroll away.
I am a student (obviously) who studies in this school where we have chosen Electives for our graduation clearance. My elective was something about data science - but thats not important as of now. I am an Intern in the said school, so I cant go out of the campus' premises.
You see, my elective only has five people - me included, and they're all male. I am the only female of the elective - literally. The teacher (which ill call sir cheese for now) is allegedly a pedophile and makes subtle remarks about things in pretty women. I have witnessed this secondhand as during my time in his class, Mr Cheese would make the girls give examples and such, complimenting them more than necessary, etc.
The students aswell, i dont feel great about. Theres only one person I feel safe to be with, but the rest? no. Student 1 is a feminist who hates women (ironic isnt it?), Student 2 bullies other people, and student 3 isnt a close one but they are close to someome who's an asshole.
I get really anxious in situations like these, so I asked the staff who was handling our placement in the elective at the time to change electives through an email. I havent gotten a response yet - and I am worried.
I called my parents. My mom is okay with the idea but my dad seems to be heavily against it. He's saying that I watched/played too much games. He told me to grow up since I have one person there who i know (im not close to them, I dont know what they are like now.) and got overwhelmed so bad so I ended the call.
What should I do? Im genuinely scared and anxious and as my parents say, "paranoid".
