Rant about symbolism in Better call saul
Okay so I was watching BCS and I came across something and I wanna rant about it.
So in the show, in short q dudes name whos Mike moves his daughter and his granddaughter away from their home because of ominous, 3 burst gunshots near her home that is either PTSD or real danger, this happens about 3 times in 3 days. Mike also gets another dude arrested by staging an assault, a job he got paid for by some other dude. Theres no explanation for the whole gunshots situation with Mike's daughter near her home but seeing the guy on Mikes porch, the two guys who almost ambush mike in his home, and then later the pool scenes where the salamanca twins (dangerous mfs) are there, I take it as the metaphorical bells of impending doom, because the salamanca twins made it clear they're after mike and his family with that whole threat.
So yeah, those gunshots? In story, they're just dangerous signs in their neighborhood, and it makes them move to a new place far from home. But for me? Its/it was symbolism for impending doom or danger, because:
Mike moves his daughter and granddaughter away, gets a gang member arrested by staging an assault on him, and then all this happens.
Just a hunch though.
