Is it weird that I love my friend—like, a lot?
Basically, he's my best friend—my only true friend—and I love every second I spend with him. It's not romantic; I don't feel any attraction to him, but at the same time, I wish we could live together—just the two of us—and grow old together, that sort of thing. There's no sexual attraction, though; it's literally just a deep appreciation for the time we spend together. I also wanted to come out to him, but I'm afraid he wouldn't want to be my friend anymore because of it. He once told me he wouldn't stop being my friend because of things like that, but at the same time I know he's not exactly a fan of LGBT people in general because of his religion, so I don't know what to do. It's also very annoying because if he knew I was LGBT, he would probably think I was in love with him, which is definitely not true. But it seems like everyone thinks that just because someone is gay, they like any man they see, but what I feel for him is totally platonic.
