Reminder that this is completely fictional. My mind just got one of those sudden midnight brain scenarios. Enjoy! 😊 The scenario: You're new at the office, hired by a someone really close to your family, and got close to a senior. You two got so close that the office started making you the office couple and you thought "hey, I'm single and it's only for fun so why not?" Two years passed, then at a Christmas party, you both had a personal conversation that you and your senior confessed to each other about your feelings becoming mutual. But you blacked out because your senior got you drunk and can't remember what happened next except your conversation you both had. The next day, that senior grew distant from you, still talks and have short conversations, but became distant. You asked what happened at the party but no one would tell you. While on your end, that person who got you the job, started a nasty rumor in your family about you and him. That continued for another two years. Within those two years, there's another person came into your life who just dropped the bomb on you and straight away confessed that they like you. But remembering that personal conversation with your senior, and out of respect between the two of you, you let him/her know and they just basically said "go for it". So you did. You went out with the person that liked you. Not only because wanted to, but to protect him (your senior). Suddenly, after those two years, you're still seeing that person who liked you. In fact, he's already in love with you at this point and you feel ready to feel the same way, you're just playing it safe. But your senior suddenly, yet seemingly, resurfaced that old office romance you both had. Even their office friends were pushing for both of you. You still have the same feelings for your senior but you are already at the point where you are ready to fall for the guy who loves you. What do you do? (Yes, we're keeping it an open-minded question for fun.)
