Thinking about GTA 6 more than a grown adult probably should

It’s the anticipation I’m enjoying, honestly. Not the countdown-clock kind — the kind where you catch yourself imagining the first drive. Windows down, radio landing on a station that’s somehow perfect, no objective yet, just seeing what the city does when you leave it alone. That first hour before you take a single mission is the part I actually want. Every one of these has had it and it never repeats: you don’t know the map, so a wrong turn is still interesting, and the world hasn’t become a set of icons yet. I have no predictions and no leaks and I’m deliberately avoiding both, because the last thing I want is to arrive already knowing the good bits. Half the pleasure is being surprised by something small — a shop you can walk into, a stranger’s conversation you only half hear. Anyway. Whenever it lands, I’m taking the long way to the first mission.
