Assured

As part of human nature, we always feel the need to be reassured. We need the reminder that we did it right. Anything we do must be checked by somebody else—a feedback, a comment, an everything needs to be correct, to somebody else. If it doesn't feel okay with you, but somebody else feels that it is—we're already good with that. Then, if somebody says something needs to be improved or corrected, we immediately try to fix it. But, there's a catch: a reply already means reassurance whether it is positive or negative. So, what happens when you don't say anything? It leads to doubt, confusion, and restlessness: did I do this thing right? These are all based on my experience and if somebody doesn't say anything to what I've said, online or not, it feels open for me to interpret. I'd assume the worse. Thinking about the good stuff feels like I'm overconfident, but thinking about the bad stuff feels like I'm a pessimist. Although, I'm none of those things, it's just apart of who we are as beings. So, what's my takeaway? Small things that you say has already impacted someone's day. I think of reassurance as something that eases your mind's worries because you already got an answer. There may be contradictions about this opinion of mine, but it's 'kay, because we all have our own opinions and beliefs! (I honestly feel like I went through different places with my topics)
