a dilemma

I love and hate being smart. I love showing off my capabilities and what I can do. I love being known as intelligent & trustworthy. I love my reputation as an intelligent student. But I hate the cons of all this. I am constantly used simply for how good I am at certain fields. I constantly make rivals I never intend to stir up a fight with. I am unable to find someone who thinks like me because I am in an environment where my curriculum is running too slow for me. In other words, my peers are dumb. Another problem is that I keep bumping into people who are smart academically, but are lacking in terms or logical/emotional intelligence. These people claim to be smart but can't grasp the basics of how one should act in a relationship. They lack basic communication, overreact, and make baseless assumptions about my actions. I hate it. What use are your straight As and aced exams if you never really learned anything in school anyways? I'm not saying I'm the smartest person in the whole wide world, or my school, or even in my own class. I just hate how lacking these people are, and how I'm constantly used by these people and then thrown around just to be blamed for shit I never did.
