Should I Stay in College?

Hello, if you are reading this, thankyou. No one has answers for me. I am so lost. I am currently studying business management, I never wanted to. I want to go my own way after my first year ends and become a comic book artist. But I feel that I won't have anything to fall back on if I fail as a comic artist. But above all, this course in business management is killing my sense of self--my soul. I feel as though I have lost my creativity, my confidence, my dreams, etc. I feel as though I set myself aside to pursue something that doesn't fulfill me. I don't even know who I was anymore, all I know, now, is that I like to make comics... I want something to fall back on, but it's at the cost of me going crazy and slowly tumbling into depression. I want to make comics. I want to tell stories, but none of that is an assured future, it's just a stupid dream that will cost my parents. But if I continue on the path of college, I will just suffer. I was never able to keep up with the normal school system as a child, so I was moved to a Montessori system instead. I thought I could do it, but college has pushed me past my limit, and I am not even being pushed for something I like. I cannot imagine myself doing 4-5 years of a major that will just break me slowly. I just can't keep up with the fast-paced environment. I feel like I am wasting myself away. Should I stay in college or pursue what truly fulfills me?

No fixing yet. “You’re heard” + a question often beats a solution.
