Should I get back with my ex? 2

Okay so I got a boyfriend right? And now she's suddenly back and when I told her to fuck off cause I already have a boyfriend she said she thought we were still dating cause apparently on top of her brother getting his girlfriend pregnant her dad got into an accident and like she's the only one who could take care of him cause her brother has to take care of his girlfriend and her mom has to work. I actually felt guilty cause I spent months hating on her when she was suffering herself but I thought to myself, why didn't she just tell me about it? And why didn't I try to find out why she ghosted me? I spent months just ignoring her cause I was actually conflicted and now that me and my boyfriend broke up, me and her started hanging out again and she likes want to try again. I don't know what to do to be honest. Should I give her a second chance?
