What red flag did you ignore for too long?

Back in middle school, I dated a girl I'll call D. We were together for about two or three years. During that time, she kept moving back and forth between Florida and Texas because her family was struggling financially and sometimes didn't have a stable place to live. The last time she moved back to Florida, we were both really happy. We hugged when we saw each other because we finally got to go to the same school again, spend time together, and make more memories. However, after a few weeks, I started to notice that she was acting differently. In my opinion, she sometimes overreacted to small things. For example, one day she got hit by a ball that, from what I saw, barely touched her, but she screamed, "Ow!" very loudly. As time went on, she also became very clingy toward my friend, who I'll call J. D even admitted to J that she was jealous when J and I became friends. At the same time, she spoke negatively about me behind my back. Luckily, J was honest with me and told me everything D had said. One day after school, we were waiting to be picked up when D tried resting her head on J's shoulder. J was clearly uncomfortable. Then, when J put her hand in her pocket because she didn't want to hold D's hand, D reached into J's pocket just so she could keep holding her hand anyway. After seeing how uncomfortable J was, I moved closer to her and stayed by her side to help her feel more comfortable Later on, J told me that something else happened during class. D did something that made J feel uncomfortable. When J told D how it made her feel, D just responded, "It's supposed to make you feel uncomfortable," and didn't seem to take J's feelings seriously. After hearing everything that had happened and seeing how D treated both me and J, I decided to end the relationship. I felt that I couldn't stay with someone who ignored another person's boundaries and made them uncomfortable on purpose.
