Im really confused about where my relationship stands right now. We have only been together for a month, yet we havent talked for almost a week (at the time). The thing is, whenever he comes back, everything just goes back to normal—no apologies, no explanation, no acknowledgment of what happened. Its like the silence never existed. 😆 I have so much built-up resentment and disappointment, but I cant bring myself to tell him how I feel because I feel like hes just going to brush it off. Were in a long-distance relationship, and while his ex is still his classmate, thats honestly not what worries me. I dont think hes cheating on me... What hurts more is feeling like Im always competing with his friends for his time and attention. I dont want constant reassurance—I just want to feel like I'm a priority too.
