I'm so scared for tomorrow

So tomorrow is the first day of freshman year (9th grade) and I recently dyed my hair blonde with half my bangs brown and a raccoon tail right? I have this friend who I adore but we both have dyed hair, so kids at our old school would say I'm the knockoff version of T (my friend) and I'm the ugly emo version of T (IM NOT EVEN EMO😭) I never really cared about what they said because me and T always had different hair colors, but now we are going into highschool together and we haven't talked much all summer, but I dyed my hair last week she just dyed her hair brown with a rainbow raccoon tail and half of her bangs are blonde 🫩. I know she didn't do it on purpose to copy me and I'm fine with her having her hair like that, not that she needs my approval. But I'm so scared that kids are just going to think of me as knockoff T and "are you copying her?" Because I know she is so much prettier than me and she's more extroverted and loud so I know people are going to think I was copying her not the other way around. I do have a little backstory on why I HATE when people think I am copying them. I had this friend back in elementary school and whenever I did anything slightly similar to her she would get so mad at me for copying her and would make everyone in our class avoid me because of it. I ended up ending the friendship and I had no friends for the last 2 years of elementary school and the first year of middle school, all because I would accidentally do something similar to her, like I would wear my hair in braids at the same time she did. Yk dumb stuff like that. So I absolutely hate it when I do the same thing as someone else because I'm always scared I'm going to get call out for "copying them" expecaly when it comes to T and my other friends because I know they are absolutely stunning and I am just okay looking. What should I do? I haven't told her about my hair yet.
