I recently moved abroad. I have been feeling lonely since the start of year. I have found a very deep friendship with my neighbor. I love every conversation we have. But they are moving away because they hate the place and the noise. Once they leave, I'll be all alone again; in a foreign country where no one cares about me. I can write to them however much I want online, but that doesn't make up for physical proximity in real life, it's not the same at all. I don't know how to cope with being all alone again. I'm tired of building shallow relationships that just end once we are done with our businesses. I don't want them to go, but they have to for their mental health. I'll just be lonely again What do I do?
