I found my reason to live
Growing up as a ulelat (A tagalog word of being a loser in a class), constantly chasing my mother's approval and falling short. the thought of being with someone who actually cared and someone you love like entering in relationship ending up never work for me. After my father passed away in 2019, I spiraled into a dark, isolated depression, completely broken by malicious judgement of relatives who claimed I would never graduate and never reach something in life.
The turning point came while watching the movie "Four Sisters and a Wedding." A filipno film that made me so emotional in the middle of the night. Seeing Teddy and Bobbie (The Casts) breakdown infront of their mother because of the burdens felt like a punch to the chest it mirrored my life perfectly. That exact moment became my catalyst.
I chose to cut out the toxic people. I love my mother deeply she raised me alone, and I refuse to let opportunistic people exploit her kindness anymore.
Now, I have my purpose. my purpose is to give my mother the best life and invest to her health in the future, right now Im a 1st year college still, due to financial issues but im back on track now.
