The only child's loneliness

First, I'd like to mention what I really like about being an only child. Growing up, I always heard that I was very lucky because of it, since I didn't have to share my room or my toys and had everyone's attention, which, including the fact that I was the only granddaughter and niece in my family, made me grow up quite spoiled materially and I never wanted a younger sibling. That being said, I find it funny how this has shaped my life. Although I'm an introvert, I don't like feeling alone and need a minimum amount of social interaction in my daily life, making me feel sad every time I distance myself from someone, even though I'm someone who doesn't like to make an effort to please and maintain a relationship with others. I grew up with my cousin, who was the same age as me (and with whom I no longer have contact), and since I wasn't a child who played outside, I usually only played with her and my parents. I got my first cell phone when I was 6 years old, and since then I've only become more introverted, especially after the pandemic, since my parents caught Covid at the time... I just want a friendship that lasts more than a year(-_- )
