Is this memory fog or smth?

I've read somewhere that suppressing your emotions can lead to memory fog/loss. I'm not sure if this is true, but it actually makes sense for me. I do remember little snippets of my memories, but other than that, I don't remember anything from when I was 9 and younger. Most of my normally preserved memories were when I hit puberty in 4th grade. It really sucks for me, since I can never relate to most of my friends whenever they tell stories about their childhoods. I've been suppressing my emotions a lot since 6th grade, and It actually made my memory worse. I'm in a star section in my school rn, and reporting/presentations are so hard for me since I CAN'T MEMORIZE SHIE. And I always forget important details about school days, like homeworks, projects, presentations, wtv. I'm really scared it would lower my grades and upset my parents. Some also say it's blocked traumatic memories... Which, maybe? I REALLY don't remember anything, and I do have some people to be suspicious of. Like, my mom has an affair bf and he's really close to me, physically only. I may just be weirded out by him cause of puberty or smth, or also because I'm really touch starved. Can I ever get my memories back?
